• Scenes from the Rustbelt

I went driving after class down to The Flats, which is a location intrinsically linked to Cleveland's industrial heyday. The Flats was at one time famous for the industry and manufacturing there that operated as the city's main source of economic growth. And like most Rustbelt cities is almost completely abandoned, nothing more than a relic of the past with decaying buildings and irreversible pollution . I love trespassing onto old sites of production and taking photos, imagining what it looked like when the city was vibrant.
