Last weekend I spent Friday under the Veterans Memorial Bridge. On the lower level there is an abandoned underground trolley line that has been inactive for over 50 years and was transformed for a weekend into an art festival called The Bridge Project. This festival attracted a diverse mix of people who came out for the opportunity to see the city from a perspective rarely seen. It was surreal to be in that location and slightly scary if you looked down. I went once during early evening and once at night and had two radically different experiences. I think you can tell which I preferred.
